Since the other two men didn’t eat food, he went through a drive-thru. As he finished his dinner, Dragos pulled out a bag of blood and sank his teeth into it, quickly emptying the contents.

Michael watched Dragos with avid curiosity. “Whoa! That is really disturbing.”

Dragos’s tongue licked away a drop of blood on his lower lip. He glowered back at Michael. “Perhaps I should sample some blood from your neck.”

Michael shrugged. “Can’t. I’m already dead.”

Dragos turned toward Brett and groaned. “I want to strangle him. How do you put up with having such a cantankerous ghost around?”

“I’m cursed with his existence.”

“Hey! I’ve got feelings.” Crossing his arms across his chest, Michael glared at them.

Brett choked back a chuckle. The guy didn’t need to know that they loved harassing him.
